I am a Bachelor of Arts in History graduate from San Diego State University and M.Ed graduate from the University of San Diego. Before going back to school I was a bartender and personal trainer, both professions which I loved the fact that interacting with people was an integral part of my job.
During my time at SDSU I was fortunate to have been under the tutelage of very accomplished and caring History professors. With their guidance and support I was able to become a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society. I am an "ally" and former volunteer board member of LAMBDA Archives here in San Diego.
I am fully committed to immersing myself in the education profession. I have earned a Clear CA Teaching Credential (NCLB and CLAD compliant) in Social Science, English and Spanish w/ a BCLAD authorization. I am in the process of obtaining an MS in School Psychology and a PPSP credential.
